As we all know, the development of electric vehicles is inseparable from the progress of infrastructure. One of the biggest pain points of electric vehicles is the mileage problem. Data show that by the end of 2019, the number of new energy vehicles in China has reached 3.81 million, but the total number of charging piles is only 1.22 million, including 520000 public piles and 700000 private piles. Charging facilities have covered 404 cities in China, and a charging network of "ten vertical, ten horizontal and two rings" has been formed. The charging pile has broad development space and huge benefit potential for interaction with the power grid, which is also highly consistent with the strategic goal of "building an international leading energy Internet enterprise with Chinese characteristics" of the State Grid.
Charging pile refers to the charging and replacement facilities that provide electric energy supply for electric vehicles. It is an important guarantee for the development of new energy vehicle industry. The number of new energy vehicle charging facilities projects launched by the State Grid this time is large and the investment scale is large. Guided by being close to demand, scientific planning and nearby construction, it plays a promoting role in alleviating mileage anxiety, serving convenient travel of passenger vehicles and stimulating new energy vehicle consumption. In view of the future large-scale charging pile access problem, the State Grid proposed to provide labor saving, time saving and cost saving services for all kinds of charging piles construction, vigorously promote the "Internet plus" power distribution, open up green channels, provide contract services, and implement easy access.
In order to break the technical bottleneck for the development of the industry, the State Grid will also accelerate the research, equipment development and engineering demonstration of key technologies of high-power charging, orderly charging and vehicle network interaction, continuously improve the standard system, promote the transformation and upgrading to international standards, actively participate in power auxiliary services and green power transactions, and promote the integrated development of smart energy and smart transportation. And from the perspective of customers, make use of the advantages of AC slow charging, supplement more AC slow charging piles, better provide charging services for more people, form unique service advantages, support the barrier free grid connection and reliable power supply of charging piles, and solve the worries of electric vehicles.
Therefore, we should further cooperate in building intelligent and orderly charging piles in residential areas, optimize the layout of public charging piles in urban office buildings, supermarkets and other parking lots, carry out pilot construction of county and township charging piles, promote electric vehicles to the countryside, build special charging piles as needed, and help the electrification process of special vehicles in public transport, logistics, ports and mining areas, so as to speed up the establishment and improvement of charging service system, Resolve mileage concerns and help electric vehicles travel green.
